Good Morning Angels is Jacaranda FM’s flagship CSI initiative, built on compassion, transparency, and action. Since 2005, Good Morning Angels has raised and distributed more than R120 million, changing lives through vital aid in areas ranging from life-saving medical interventions and educational bursaries to support for families facing hardship, tragedy, and even animal welfare. The programme’s success is deeply rooted in the incredible compassion of Jacaranda FM listeners and the unwavering support of corporates and organisations, who step up time and again, whether through impactful fundraisers like the annual Good Morning Angels Golf Day (which raised over R5,7 million in 2025 alone) or ongoing donations throughout the year.

The Big Favour is East Coast Radio’s long-standing community upliftment initiative, rooted in the belief that collective action can make a real difference. It reflects East Coast Radio’s ethos: “If it matters to KZN, it matters to us.” The initiative brings together listeners, businesses, and partners to support individuals, organisations, and causes across KwaZulu-Natal. Focused on practical impact, The Big Favour uses the reach and trust of the station to respond to real needs, strengthen communities, and create moments of hope and connection.
